  • Project Architect (5 to 7 years)

    We are looking for a creative, talented, and team-oriented project architect for any of our office locations. You should be passionate about design, work well with people, and communicate your ideas and approach in a clear and thoughtful manner. You will work collectively with our dynamic firm to develop innovative, thoughtful, and technical solutions for a wide range of clients and project types.

  • Interior Designer / Project Manager (5 to 7 years)

    We are looking for a creative, talented, and team-oriented interior designer/architect to join our Philadelphia, New York City, or Princeton location, with experience and passion for project management and project delivery. You should possess strong project management experience, and a strong ability to communicate your ideas and approach clearly and thoughtfully.      Primary Responsibilities:

    • Full responsibility for managing all aspects across multiple projects
    • Prepares project workplans and manages workflow and administrative efforts throughout design and documentation phases, including programming, design, construction documents and construction administration
    • Actively oversees and is responsible for project schedule, budget, fee and scope of work to project completion
    • Prepares proposals
    • Be passionate about design excellence and the ability of architecture to affect meaningful change
    • Interface with clients at every level of a project
    • Support project teams – align in house staffing resources with project needs, budget and deadlines

    Requirements and Skills:

    • 5 to 7 years of experience
    • Passion for design excellence
    • Strong experience in project and workflow management of aspects of interior design practice, including programming, design, detailing, furniture planning and selection, and/or finishes preferred
    • Experience with client interface, networking + relationship building
    • Strong and respectful writing and verbal communication skills; within the office, with clients, consultants, and contractors
    • Corporate, workplace, and institutional project experience
    • Ability to be collaborative and pro-active
    • Fluency with REVIT, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite is strongly preferred

  • Senior Interior Designer / Project Manager (8+ years)

    We are looking for an experienced and ambitious interior designer/architect to join our Philadelphia, New York City, or Princeton location, with a passion for innovative design, disciplined project management, and delivering high-quality projects that exceed clients’ expectations. The Senior Interior Designer position entails leading the interior design of a range of project types and scales, including supervising junior interior designers and collaborating with project architects and consultants across potentially multiple teams. You should possess a creative, progressive design sensibility, a collaborative problem-solving approach, strong project management experience, and a strong ability to communicate your ideas clearly and thoughtfully.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Assumes responsibility for developing design direction for multiple projects, from programming and conceptual design through construction
    • Demonstrates passion for design excellence and the ability of interior architecture to affect meaningful change
    • Interfaces with clients at every level of a project
    • Supports project teams – aligns in-house staffing resources with project needs, budget, and deadlines
    • Gives direction and mentors junior staff
    • Manages all aspects of projects, including budget, fees, schedule, scope of work, and coordination with other disciplines in the production of construction documents and specifications
    • Receives and coordinates technical, budgetary, managerial, and design guidance on critical project issues and requirements.
    • Prepares project workplans and manages workflow and administrative efforts throughout design and documentation phases, including programming, planning, concept, design, construction documents, and construction administration
    • Works with Marketing to prepare proposals and develop project teams

    Requirements and Skills:

    • 8+ years of experience
    • Passion and enthusiasm for design excellence
    • Strong experience in project and workflow management of aspects of interior design practice, including programming, planning, concept, design, detailing, furniture planning and selection, and finishes
    •  Knowledge of FF & E specifications and bidding
    • Strong commitment to design and technical quality
    • Experience with client interface, networking, and relationship-building
    • Strong and respectful writing and verbal communication skills; within the office, with clients, consultants, and contractors
    • Workplace, hospitality, and institutional project experience
    • Ability to be collaborative and pro-active
    • Fluency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite is strongly preferred
    • Highly organized with an eye for detail and creative problem-solving
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    •  Ability to effectively meet deadlines
    • Knowledge of material application and detailing

  • Architecture / Interior Design Summer Intern

    This position is for architecture or interior design interns currently pursuing a professional degree in architecture. We are looking for creative, talented, and team-oriented candidates for all three of our office locations. You will work collectively with our dynamic firm to develop innovative and thoughtful solutions for a wide range of clients and project types. This position will focus on providing support across multiple projects currently in construction administration.

  • Project Accountant

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Create, monitor, and maintain project budget and funding based on information included in the contract documents and provided by Project Managers.
    • Track all project-related expenses, including labor costs, in a systematic and organized manner.
    • Analyze budget variances and discrepancies and collaborate with Project Managers to identify potential cost-saving measures or areas where additional funding may be needed.
    • Assist in financial forecasting for the project, helping project managers anticipate future financial needs and challenges.
    • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and updates on project financial performance.
    • Responsible for creating accurate client invoices in compliance with contract terms and accounting schedule; work with consultants and Project Managers to ensure terms are set prior to initial invoicing.
    • Collection management, collaborate with Project Managers and Partners to resolve outstanding AR issues and confirm documentation of collection activities.
    • Process Accounts Payable transactions for sub-consultants.
    • Review, approve, and communicate the release of sub-consultant payments.
    • Reconcile and close out completed projects to ensure all revenue has been billed and all time and expenses have been recorded; accurately report the profitability of the project to the Finance Director and Partners
    • Provide additional financial and project accounting support as needed (ex. Quarterly and year-end close, additional service development, etc.)
    • Participate in developing critical systems and process tools to help create a continuum of progress related to Architect, Accounting, and Marketing Collaboration.
    • Work with the Director of Finance, Controller, and other Accountants in a professional and collaborative manner.
    • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.

    Qualifications:

    • 4-Yrs Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting with a minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience
    • Deltek experience a plus; proficient with MS Office applications
    • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies is a plus.
    • Accounting experience in A/E/C industry desirable
    • Must be self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well independently and as part of a team; Critical thinking is essential.
    • Requires a personable and professional approach for face-to-face, telephone, and email communication.

  • Accountant

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for maintaining and updating financial records.
    • Develop, implement, and enforce internal controls to maximize the protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow.
    • Prepare monthly journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.
    • Monitor monthly banking activity, initiate wires, and complete monthly reconciliations on all bank and credit card accounts.
    • Manage accounts payable and approve and process weekly check runs.
    • Manage employee and partner expenses and approve and process weekly check runs.
    • Coordinating and compiling documents for year-end closeout.
    • Preparing and issuing 1099’s to consultants/vendors.
    • Assist in tax planning and compilation of reports for the outside accounting firm.
    • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
    • Assist in preparing budget and forecast reports and be able to analyze and provide details on the variances between actuals vs budget/forecast.
    • Examine and evaluate current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new departmental processes and procedures for adequacy of internal controls.
    • Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality, avoid conflicts of interest, and act with integrity.
    • Work with the Director of Finance, Controller, and other Accountants in a professional and collaborative manner.
    • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.

    Qualifications:

    • 4-yr Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting with a minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience
    • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Deltek experience a plus; proficient with MS Office applications.
    • Accounting experience in A/E/C industry desirable.
    • Must be deadline oriented.
    • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
    • Must be self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work well independently and as part of a team; Critical thinking is essential.
