KSS Welcomes Lucia Yanik, Paul Neidhard, Elizabeth Gray

August 15, 2024

KSS is excited to welcome Paul Neidhard, RA, to the firm and is equally thrilled to announce that both Lucia Yanik and Elizabeth Gray have joined KSS as full-time employees. Meet our KSSers, whose passion for design, architectural expertise, and enthusiasm are invigorating our team and projects.

Lucia Yanik, LEED Green Associate

Lucia has officially joined KSS as a full-time employee after graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University. Over the past two years, Lucia has become a key member of our team, working at KSS while simultaneously completing her degree. Since joining KSS, her experience includes higher education, industrial, and cultural projects. Passionate about community-focused design and volunteer work, Lucia aims to create inspiring environments that foster connections among people, blending creativity with practicality to craft meaningful spaces. She is particularly interested in how architecture can integrate natural, cultural, and social elements to create impactful environments and views architects as essential in bridging the gap between individuals and their surroundings. Outside of work, Lucia enjoys playing tennis, exploring both digital and film photography, and visiting art museums.

Paul Neidhard, RA, NCARB, Architect

Paul joined the KSS Philadelphia office in Spring 2024 after relocating from New York City. He brings over seven years of architectural experience, with a focus on multifamily, supportive, and affordable housing. Paul is passionate about architecture’s ability to positively impact lives and is energized by his role in designing these memorable spaces—from homes for individuals experiencing homelessness to spaces for learning, work, and play. In his free time, he enjoys listening to podcasts and audiobooks, reading, drawing, and spending time outdoors gardening, bicycling, and walking.

Elizabeth Gray

Elizabeth has officially joined KSS as a full-time employee after completing a part-time internship over the past two years while earning her Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech. At KSS, she is currently working on a major cultural project in upstate New York and researching life-cycle analysis software. As she transitions into her full-time role, Elizabeth is excited to explore opportunities in the housing market, a new field for her. Her architectural career is driven by a desire to develop diverse skills and knowledge, and she finds great satisfaction in seeing the tangible results of her work, especially on a large scale. Outside of architecture, Elizabeth enjoys music, influenced by her minor in the subject, and is passionate about archivism, having been significantly involved with the International Archive of Women in Architecture at Virginia Tech.
