The Hampshire Companies has made a reputation in developing high quality commercial projects in strategic locations. KSS was selected as the architect to establish that continuing reputation in the industrial market. Hampshire had acquired properties located in Carteret, New Jersey near Exit 12, a strategic location to serve the distribution needs of the metropolitan New York City region.

Our Approach

KSS worked closely with their development team to plan and design these sites along with two new buildings. Taking advantage of the visibility to the Turnpike and the desire of Hampshire to maintain their high design profile, KSS has designed buildings of great visual prominence and material character. Incorporating large scale curtainwall and metal panel systems, these buildings break the mold of traditional industrial development and respond closer to the character of the modern office buildings associated with Hampshire.
