LEED Platinum Office Building Proposed for Trenton

Capital Real Estate Group of Trenton has proposed building the first LEED Platinum office building in the Garden State, the Vista Center, next to the Trenton train station and transit center. We gave preliminary approvals at Trenton’s Planning Board meeting last December and the developer, Daniel Brenna of CREG, is finally getting some press for the proposal. Brenna is trying to attract businesses with an incredible tax incentive (read more on The New York Times). The proposed tower’s green design features will include high ceilings, natural daylighting, low-VOC interior finishes, a high-performance HVAC system, roof-mounted photovoltaic system, low-E glass and a graywater irrigation system.
