At KSS mentorship opportunities are something we encourage our employees to take part in – as a mentee as well as a mentor. This month, we are proud that one of our Architectural Designers, Samantha Garcia, has been named the ACE Mentor Program of NJ “Mentor of the Month!”
Samantha’s participated with ACE Mentor Program of NJ for only a year but has made the most of that time. “I love being a part of ACE because I enjoy teaching and guiding students into learning about the architecture, construction, and engineering industries. I believe I would have greatly benefit from this program if it was offered at my high school so I’m glad I can spread this industry awareness to younger generations. It’s rewarding to see students excited when learning something new.
Samantha is a recent NJIT graduate and began with KSS in May of 2021, quickly becoming active in our Community Design Group in addition to her project workload. She is also a C-Class member of the Dover (NJ) Historic Preservation Commission.
