View from I.con

What’s on the horizon for industrial development? At I.con 2013 – the NAIOP Industrial Conference – industry leaders projected an upbeat future for the industry. No longer lamenting a poor economy, this year’s event looked positively forward speaking about development meeting a growing and changing economy. Held in Los Angeles, California, on June 5 and 6, the event attracted 500 attendees – the largest I.con gathering ever. Many of the themes discussed in our recent NAIOP Distribution Center of the Future Design Competition entry bubbled in program and conversation. I was even asked to participate in an interview about KSS’ futuristic take on industrial development. Look for the video interview and others on the NAIOP website and at the Development ‘13 Conference this fall.
