Cohesive & brand-rich workplace

KSS worked with Warby Parker to design the company’s second optical lab and first on the west coast. Located in Las Vegas, the facility anchors Warby Parker’s west coast production operations as well as an open office and training zone for customer experience associates. The client sought to replicate the feel of its East Coast Optical Lab, also designed by KSS, with emphasis on equity of experience throughout the spaces. In response, the design creates clean, open sight lines whenever possible to create a unified working environment that allows all employees across the warehouse and customer experience areas to feel part of a cohesive team. These spaces are connected by glazing to provide transparency and a sense of interconnectedness. A large break room provides a common space for all employees to relax and socialize, from production associates to executives working out of the office for the week.

To ensure the spaces reflect the Warby Parker brand, the design team collaborated with Warby Parker’s brand team and internal visuals team to infuse the company’s quirky personality throughout. Crisp white spaces are accented by pops of Warby blue and playful original artwork created by artists with whom the company has established relationships over the years. The artwork, which is located throughout the entire facility including a large-scale mural in the production space, contributes to placemaking and unifies the various spaces. The result is an inviting work environment that “feels” like Warby Parker.
